Coastguard Row Cottage is a charming coastal period cottage in Mousehole with plenty to offer couples and families alike. It is set on a private path with fantastic sea views across gardens to the sea and St Clements Isle. It has been in the owners family for 40 years, with many visitors returning time and time again to enjoy the peaceful location. The cottage is a stone's throw from the beach and harbour. Mousehole offers many places to dine including the Ship Inn, Old Coastguard Hotel and Fore St. as well as a variety of interesting shops and Delis.
Mousehole (pronounced "Mowsul") is a postcard-perfect fishing village in West Cornwall. Winding lanes lined with independently owned cafes and boutiques, a harbour for fishing and pleasure boats, beautiful beaches, and easy access to the South West Coastal Path make it a place for all generations. Take your bucket and spade to the harbour at low tide, or wander along the thick stone walls for views of St Michael's Mount. There are more unforgettable views on the coastal footpath to Lamorna, and swimmers in the tidal rockpool may spot seals in the ocean as they take a dip. Mousehole isn't just a superb summer holiday destination as it's well known for the Mousehole Lights which decorate the village for a month from early December.
Previous guests recommend the coastal walk to Penzance and the gentle climb to the top of Carn Brea, cliff walks, Fabulous beaches at Porthcurno and Sennen.
There is plenty of parking in the village but why not hire an e-bike and explore at your leisure? Take the boat to St Michael's Mount, and don't miss the opportunity to surf, swim, or SUP at Mousehole or places like Sennen or the Art Deco Jubilee Pool, which is geothermally heated. Coasteering, sea fishing, beach horse riding, and wildlife boat tours are excellent ways to enjoy your stay at Coastguard Row Cottage.

Coastguard Row Cottage is a period cottage with thick stone walls, a sheltered courtyard garden, and gorgeous views. You reach it via a private footpath which means no passing traffic.

Outside: A well-tended patio garden includes outdoor seating and sea views towards the harbour and St Clement's Island.
Additional Information: Utilities, WiFi, bed linen and bath towels are included. The prices quoted are for the two-bedroom cottage. A separate studio with a bedroom, bathroom and utility room can be booked at an additional cost. The studio is not leased separately from the house.
