Sylvie's Cottage is in a country lane within easy reach of the A39 Atlantic Highway for Croyde and Bude surfing beaches. Exmoor and Dartmoor National Parks. As you enter the cottage your eye will be drawn to the stone inglenook fireplace with original bread oven and wood burner to keep you warm on chilly days. If you enjoy cooking 'at home' you will find a fully fitted kitchen with everything you need. Upstairs you will find a pretty double room, two single rooms and a family bathroom. There is a small front garden with a bench surrounded by flowers and a separate private garden perfect for summer barbecues, stargazing at night or for fun with the children. An off road area provides parking for a family size car.
The village of Woolsery boasts a traditional Devon Pub producing incredible dishes with home grown produce from their own farm and there is a splendid fish a chip shop next door. The Village Shop and Post Office is well stocked with everything you need. Nearby is a dairy farm with a Milk Kiosk where you can make tasty milkshakes. The Milky Way Adventure Park and North Devon Watersport Centre/Wake Park is just up the road. Just around the corner within walking distance is an excellent garden centre where you will find the Mad Hatters Restaurant and their unique Gnome Reserve. Our nearest beach is at Bucks Mills with access to the South West Coast Path.
Just a short drive away are the spectacular cliffs and rocks of Hartland Quay with a wonderful view of Lundy Island. We are perfectly situated for exploring the North Devon Coast and venturing into North Cornwall too! With easy access to both Exmoor and Dartmoor National Parks. You can reach the nearby A39 Atlantic Highway to take you to the huge sandy beaches at Westward Ho! and Bude. Local pannier markets are held in Bideford, Barnstaple and Torrington.

Sylvie's Cottage sleeps four guests and comprises:
Ground Floor - Porch entrance with hooks for coats leading into the lounge. Here you will find comfy sofas, a dining table for 4, smart TV, stone inglenook fireplace with original bread oven and wood burner. Well stocked bookcase complete with games for adults and toys for children. Walk through to the fully fitted kitchen with a breakfast table ideal for two. Full size cooker/grill, dishwasher, microwave, fridge and freezer.
First Floor - Double room decorated in relaxing lemon colour, with TV, comfy window seat, bespoke double bed with plenty of space underneath for suitcases. Bedside tables and lights both sides of the bed. Radio/alarm clock, hairdryer. Bath robe. Dressing table, chest of drawers and hanging space. Single room decorated in fresh coastal colours. Bedside lamp and table, chest of drawers, hanging space, chair to relax in. Smaller single room decorated with a marine theme. Bedside lamp and table, small chest of drawers. Family bathroom with deep bath and shower over.
Additional info: Price includes electricity, central heating, bed linen and towels (please bring your own beach towels). The private garden has a table and seating, BBQ. From October to April the wood burner is stocked with logs for two fires. Additional logs can be purchased from the nearby garden centre. No dogs are permitted as we offer an allergy free environment. In line with current Fire Regulations, emergency lighting has been fitted to come on in a power failure, all bedroom doors are fire resistant, and there are smoke alarms in every bedroom and downstairs. Also a carbon monoxide alarm in the lounge.
