Mornacott Farmhouse is a beautifully refurbished property in the peaceful Devon countryside, accommodating up to 14 guests. Ideal for larger groups, the farmhouse combines luxurious furnishings and modern lighting with traditional elements like slate and hardwood floors. Each of the seven bedrooms has its own unique character, offering comfort and style.
The farmhouse is spacious enough to cater for all needs; the fully-stocked kitchen has an adjoining 'boot room' for additional food and drink storage, and the bespoke-crafted dining table can seat up to 24. Relaxation areas include an inviting living room and a cosy TV snug, while a separate children’s snug includes games and a large TV for entertainment. The enclosed garden, with its spectacular views of rolling hills, is perfect for pets, while the covered outdoor dining area is great for enjoying summer evenings together.
Guests have access to an onsite swimming pool, sauna, games room and sports field, in addition to a network of footpaths which cross the wider estate. Other onsite activities include guided wildlife safaris, wildlife photography and fishing. We also offer maps for self-guided walking trails through the estate, and have a wildlife viewing hide which overlooks Exmoor National Park. There are several chickens on the farm and with advanced notice you may be able to with the morning feeding and even collect your own fresh eggs for breakfast!
Mornacott Farmhouse is nestled within a spectacular conservation estate amid the rolling hills of North Devon. With the restoration of ancient woodlands, the creation of wildflower meadows, and the expansion of hedgerows, Mornacott is transforming into a tranquil haven where guests can engage and connect with nature.
Exmoor National Park lies just to the north of the estate's borders, and the scenic North Devon coastline, with its outstanding beaches and panoramic walking trails, is within easy reach.

Of the seven bedrooms, three have ensuite bathrooms. There are two shared family bathrooms and two additional downstairs WCs.

Please contact us if your group is larger than 14 people. We have additional cottages on the estate which can be combined with the Farmhouse as part of a group stay. In addition, the Farmhouse has a small eighth bedroom with a single bed, which can be made up if required.
