The charming stone façade of The Old Stables perfectly complements the glorious rolling hills that surround the property, offering unbeatable views from the courtyard garden.
Inside, the ground floor features a spacious open-plan layout that connects the kitchen, dining, and living areas, with doors that open directly onto the patio, showcasing the breathtaking scenery. Upstairs, the bedrooms highlight the building’s rich history with original oak beams and timber vaulted ceilings, adding rustic elegance. Contemporary furnishings provide a modern touch, while each of the three bedrooms comes with an ensuite for added convenience, along with an extra toilet downstairs for practicality.
Guests have access to an onsite swimming pool, sauna, games room and sports field, in addition to a network of footpaths which cross the wider estate. Other onsite activities include guided wildlife safaris, wildlife photography and fishing. We also offer maps for self-guided walking trails through the estate, and have a wildlife viewing hide which overlooks Exmoor National Park. There are several chickens on the farm and with advanced notice you may be able to with the morning feeding and even collect your own fresh eggs for breakfast!
