A 15-minute walk brings you to the magnificent Thor's Cave, while the nearby traffic-free Manifold Trail is ideal for biking or leisurely strolls. Dovedale Cottage is as captivating as its namesake, the gorgeous National Trust Dovedale Valley, where the famous stepping stones cross the river. This single-storey stone cottage was formerly a cow shed.
Outside: A sheltered gravel area at the front of the cottage has seating where you can enjoy the views with your favourite drink. Guests can also use the farm's outdoor games areas and heated play barn, which offer activities for all ages.
Additional Information: Dogs are welcome by arrangement but will incur a small cleaning surcharge. All utilities, WiFi, bed linen and bath towels are included. The owner can supply baby and toddler equipment like a highchair, travel cot, and bath.
