The building itself dates back to the late18th century which has been sympathetically restored to show the period features of the property. The property is located in the village main street giving direct access to both local pubs and village shop as well as providing an ideal base for exploring the surrounding countryside. Boasting unique facilities such as unlimited Wi-Fi Internet, Smart TVs and a Pool/Games Room Rowel House is the perfect destination for a family getaway within the beautiful backdrop of Dentdale.

GROUND FLOOR:- Charming living room which was once the village Post Office and shop. It looks out onto the main street with comfy seating, electric fire and Smart TV with Netflix. Pool room with games cupboard, ample seating and Bluetooth speaker.- Boot room with washbasin and indoor storage for 2 bicycles. Shower room and WC with washbasin.- Dining room with a farmhouse table to accommodate 8 guests. Kitchen with induction hob cooker, microwave oven, toaster, refrigerator and coffee/tea making facilities. Boiler/Utility Room with washing machine, tumble dryer and freezer.
FIRST FLOOR:- 2 x Bedrooms with king-size beds and Smart TVs with Netflix. 2 x twin bedrooms. Main bathroom with bathtub, free- standing shower, WC and wash basin.
OUTDOORS:- Enclosed Courtyard to rear of the property offering outdoor seating and table.
PARKING:- We have 2 allocated parking spaces 100m away from the property (Details will be sent on booking).
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: A high chair and travel cot is available at the property. For additional high chairs/cots please request with property owner.

Although one of the lesser known Yorkshire Dales, Dentdale is somewhat of a hidden gem. Walking the cobbled streets and seeing the white-washed stone cottages gives a glimpse into life of years gone-by. The Dent Heritage Centre is a popular stop-off point for walkers offering a slice of history served with coffee and cake. The River Dee flows along the bottom of the village striking out towards the town of Sedbergh approx. 4 miles away. There are ample country lanes to entice avid cyclists and there are many country side walks around the village to satisfy both moderate and and more experienced walkers alike. Approx. 3 miles from Dent Village and sitting atop of the Dale is Dent Station. Forming part of the historic Settle to Carlisle Railway this is the highest mainline station in the UK and provides beautiful views over the valley. A short train ride will take you to Ribblehead Station offering views of the famous Ribblehead Viaduct and access to Whernside. This offers an opportunity to take on the 3 Yorkshire Peaks of Whernside, Pen-y-Ghent and Ingleborough. Additionally, Kendal is approx. 30 Minutes by car if a day out to the Lake District takes your fancy.
